Shrimp Pasta with Roasted Bell Pepper Sauce

Instructions

  1. Marinate the shrimps with salt, pepper, garlic powder and paprika (preferably smoked paprika).
  2. In a pan, on medium heat, add olive oil and cook the shrimps on both sides.
  3. Cut the shrimps into small pieces.
  4. Optional: add lemon juice.
  5. In the same pan, add olive oil and saute the diced onion then add the minced garlic and stir for a minute.
  6. Add the roasted bell pepper sauce (recipe: http://gokitch.com/recipe/roasted-red-pepper-dip/).
  7. Add chili flakes, salt, pepper & oyster sauce.
  8. Add parmesan cheese & chopped parsley.
  9. Add the cooked shrimps, mix well then add the cooked pasta. (You may lighten the sauce with pasta water if needed).
