Wash the turnips and slice them.

Boil the water and let it chill while sanitizing the jar.

Add a tablespoon of salt for every cup of water and 1/4 cup of vinegar for every 6 cups of water.

In a jar, add the turnips, cover them with the prepared water, put a small dish on top and close the jar tightly.

Leave it closed for a week.
