Philly Cheese Steak Sandwich

- Heat butter in a skillet over high heat. Sear the steak on both sides until browned.
- Place the seared steak in a pot with garlic, rosemary, and water. Cover and cook on low heat for 4 hours.
- Use the same skillet for the demi-glace sauce. Melt butter, scrape the browned bits, and add the steak broth and corn starch mixed with water. Simmer until thickened.
- In the same skillet, caramelize the sliced onions in butter over low heat.
- Remove the steak from the pot, slice it thinly, and return it to the skillet for a quick sear. Optionally, glaze with honey and BBQ sauce.
- Place the steak in the skillet and top with cheddar cheese. Cover until the cheese melts.
- Toast bread rolls, add caramelized onions, then layer with steak and melted cheese. Drizzle with demi-glace sauce.
- Serve immediately.
