Sauté the Base: Heat olive oil in a large pan. Add the finely chopped onions, salt, and black pepper. Sauté until soft and translucent.

Cook the Minced Beef: Add the minced garlic and minced beef to the pan. Break the meat up as it cooks. Season with black pepper, cinnamon, cardamom, and a bay leaf. Cook until browned.

Add butter then pour in the fresh tomato juice, ready-made tomato paste, and onion powder. Stir everything together. Add water then cover and let it simmer on low heat.

In another pan, add oil then saute the onions. Season with salt & pepper then add diced tomato and give it a stir.

Final Touches: Add the sauted veggies to the minced beef sauce and stir well. Add salt, sugar and vinegar.

Let the sauce thicken to your desired consistency (30 minutes to 1 hour).
