Instructions
The Chicken

In a pan, add water and turn on the heat. Before it reaches the boiling point add the chicken then the chopped onion, carrot, celery, cardamom, bay leaves, black peppercorns and garlic cloves. Add salt.

Slightly cover the pan and let it cook for 30 minutes then set aside. (make sure to keep the water).

In a pan, add oil and butter and stir until butter melts.

Add whole garlic, bay leaf, black pepper and dry coriander.

Brush the chicken with the butter (make sure chicken in dry and skin is not wet).

Grill in the oven.
The Rice

In a pan, heat a lot of oil and pan fry the vermicelli. Make sure to keep stirring.

Add the rice (double the quantity of the vermicelli)

Add the chicken broth (strain from vegetables) then stir once. Taste then add black pepper and salt to taste.

Bring to a boil then cover and cook on low heat for 20 minutes. Add butter cube and stir with fork.
Mulukhiyah

Mince the mulukhiyah (watch video for technique).

In a pot, add oil and minced garlic then add chicken broth.

Add the mulukhiya and stir well the set aside.

Tasha: In a pan, add oil or ghee, then garlic slices and coriander.

Add the tasha to the mulukhiya.
