Instructions

  1. In a pan over heat, add the meatballs and grill until it starts to change color.
  2. Add the sliced onion and stir until wilt. Add the fried potato cubes if available and stir all together. Remove from heat.
  3. To prepare the tahini sauce, in a bowl add the tahini, cumin, sumac, water, rayeb or yogurt, lemon juice, pomegranate molasses, garlic, vinegar, and salt. Whisk together until blended.
  4. Place the meatballs, onion, and potato cubes in a Pyrex dish.
  5. Pour the tahini sauce over the meatballs. Bake in a preheated oven for 20 minutes.
  6. Garnish with fried nuts or some fresh coriander.
