- In a pot, over low heat, melt the sugar until it caramelizes. Be cautious to avoid burning it.
- Slowly add water to the caramelized sugar. Then, add cardamom pods, a cinnamon stick, and a pinch of saffron. Stir gently.
- Add the black tea to the pot. Let it simmer on low heat for about 5-7 minutes, allowing the flavors to infuse.
- Pour in the evaporated milk, stirring continuously. Let the tea simmer for another 5 minutes.
- Strain the tea into cups and serve hot. For a refreshing twist, let it cool and serve over ice.
