Powder Karak Tea

  1. In a bowl, add powder milk, red tea, brown or white sugar, cloves, ginger, cardamom pods, and a pinch of saffron.
  2. Mix the ingredients well and grind well to create powdered karak tea mix then add it to a Jar.
  3. To prepare a cup of karak tea, add 2 teaspoons of the powdered karak tea mix to a cup of boiling water.

Simmer Karak Tea

  1. In a pan, add sugar and stir until it caramelizes.
  2. Gradually add water.
  3. Add ground cardamom, cloves, cinnamon stick, saffron and tea to the pan.
  4. Stir the mixture well and leave it to boil.
  5. Pour in the milk.
  6. let it simmer for a few more minutes.
  7. Pass tea mixture through sifter to strain out the spices and tea leaves.
