Pit the olives if necessary and chop the sun-dried tomatoes into small pieces.
Add black olives, green olives, sun-dried tomatoes, minced garlic, lemon juice, and olive oil to a food processor.
Pulse the mixture in the food processor until it forms a coarse paste. Adjust the consistency to your liking by adding more olive oil if necessary.
Taste the tapenade and adjust the seasoning with additional lemon juice or salt if needed.
Transfer the tapenade to a serving dish. Use it as a spread on crackers, bread, or as a topping for sandwiches.
Store any leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to a week.
