In baking a tray add sugar and butter to caramelize, until it turns golden brown.

Stack the pineapple slices and peeled peaches over the caramelized sugar in the tray.

In a separate bowl, mix flour, baking powder.

Add butter and oil and mix well.

Add starch over the cherries.

Add the dough mixture over berries and combine all together forming a smooth cake batter.

Pour the cake mixture evenly over the caramelized sugar, pineapple slices, peaches, and cherries in the baking tray.

Oven bake in a preheated on 180 C or 190 C.

While the cake is still warm, add water, pineapple juice or compote water.
