Instructions
Wash the broccoli and drain well.
In a wok or a frying pan, put butter, salt, pepper, onion powder and thyme.
Add the broccoli and stir. Add garlic and stir well.
Add water, cover and simmer for about 15 minutes until half-cooked.
Bechamel Sauce
In another pot, melt butter and oil. Add the flour and whisk until smooth and pale golden in color.
While whisking, slowly pour in the milk gradually. Then add the broth. Season with salt, pepper and nutmeg.
In a baking dish put the broccoli first, pour the bechamel over and you can add a layer of cheese on top.
Place in a preheated oven for 20 minutes or until the topping is deep golden.
