For Baking Figs
Cut the figs from the bottom into quarters without cutting through, leaving them attached at the top.
Sprinkle sugar over the figs and stuff each fig with a small amount of butter.
Bake in the oven at 180°C for 20-25 minutes or until the figs are tender and a thick sauce forms.
Allow the baked figs to cool down slightly.
For The Cream
Whip the whipping cream until thick, or use canned cream.
Mix some of the baked fig sauce into the cream for added flavor.
For Serving
Serve the baked figs on a plate, over the prepared cream.
Optionally, garnish with nuts.
