If using a mozzarella block, cut it into thick slices, then cut the slices into uniform sticks.

In a plate, combine all-purpose flour, salt, garlic powder, onion powder, black pepper, a dried oregano, and dried parsley. Stir well and set aside.

In another plate, combine coarse breadcrumbs (panko), salt, garlic powder, onion powder, black pepper, dried oregano, and dried parsley. Stir well and set aside.

In a third plate or shallow bowl, whisk eggs with milk, salt, and black pepper.

This recipe uses a double-coating method for extra crispiness. Take each mozzarella stick and dredge it thoroughly in the seasoned flour, ensuring it's fully coated.

Dip the floured stick into the egg wash, letting any excess drip off.

Heat enough oil for deep frying in a deep pot or skillet over medium-high heat until it reaches 175-180°C.

Carefully place a few frozen mozzarella sticks into the hot oil, making sure not to overcrowd the pan.

Fry for about 2-3 minutes, flipping occasionally, until they turn a beautiful golden brown and are crispy. Be careful not to overcook, or the cheese might ooze out.

Remove the mozzarella sticks immediately from the oil and place them on a wire rack (not directly on paper towels, as they can get soggy).
