Fried Rice using leftover Rice

Description

Turn leftover rice into a delicious and quick fried rice dish with vegetables. This recipe is super easy, full of flavor, and can be customized with your favorite veggies.

  1. Heat sesame oil (or regular oil) in a deep pan or wok.
  2. Add the rice and stir-fry, making sure each grain is coated with oil. Remove it and set aside.
  3. Add more oil, then add ginger, garlic, and vegetables of your choice (green onion makes a difference).
  4. Make a hole in the center of the pan and crack an egg into it. Cook and scramble it quickly, mixing it with the vegetables.
  5. Add the cooked rice back into the pan and stir well.
  6. Add dark soy sauce and oyster sauce (optional) to the rice.
