Chicken Kofta with Tahini

  1. Prepare the Chicken: Cut the chicken breast into small pieces. Season with salt, black pepper, paprika, thyme, curry powder, and garlic powder. Add breadcrumbs and olive oil and grind well using a chopper.
  2. Shape the Kofta: Use your hands to shape the chicken mixture into kofta balls or patties.
  3. Fry the Kofta: Heat oil in a pan over medium heat. Fry the kofta until golden brown and cooked through.
  4. Prepare the Fries: Slice the potatoes and fry them in the same pan until crispy and golden.
  5. Make the Tahini Sauce: In a bowl, combine tahini, garlic, yogurt, lemon juice, vinegar (optional), salt, black pepper, thyme and paprika. Gradually add water until you achieve a creamy consistency.
  6. Brush an oven dish with oil then arrange the fries in a baking dish and place the chicken kofta on top. Pour the tahini sauce over the kofta and bake for 10 minutes.
