Instructions

  1. In a pan, add minced beef and stir until its color changes.
  2. Add minced onion and stir.
  3. Add salt & pepper. Add tomato paste, tomato juice & hot water. Give it a stir then let it cook on low heat for 10 minutes.
  4. In a bowl, add all crepe ingredients (except flour) and whisk well. Add flour (sift well), give it a stir and whisk again for 1 minute.
  5. In a non-stick pan, add some of the creme mixture and cook on both sides. Do so with all of the crepe mixture.
  6. In a pan, melt ghee or butter. Add flour and mix well for 1 minute. Add milk gradually while whisking. Add salt & pepper (white or black pepper).
  7. In a pyrex, add a layer of tomato paste or tomato puree, then a layer of bechamel.
  8. Add the minced beef to the crepes & roll (watch video for technique).
  9. Add a layer of rolled crepes to the pyrex.
  10. Brush tomato paste or puree on the crepes in the pyrex (this step is optional).
  11. Add another layer of bechamel on top then add grated cheddar and mozzarella cheese.
  12. Cook in a preheated oven at 180 degrees for 25 minutes. (open the grill towards the end)
