Wheat Milk Porridge (Belilah)

Instructions

  1. To cook the wheat: soak overnight then change the water in the morning then cook for 20 minutes on low heat. Let it cool and store in fridge for later use.
  2. In a pan, add milk, evaporated condensed milk (or sugar), cinnamon stick, cloves and vanilla.
  3. Add the soaked and cooked wheat and butter then stir and set aside.
  4. In a pan, add butter then the chopped/minced knafeh and pan fry.
  5. In a bowl, add the cooked wheat & milk then add the knaffeh on top and enjoy.
  6. Add raisins and chopped walnuts (optional), add sugar, pan fry then set aside.
